Rasheedat Ajibade joins Paris Saint-Germain as free agent
Fresh from leading the Super Falcons of Nigeria to victory at the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations, Rasheedat Ajibade has completed a move to French giants Paris Saint-Germain Féminin.
The Super Falcons captain signed a two-year contract with the Paris-based side, with an option of a further year, following the expiration of her deal with Atlético Madrid Féminin at the end of last season.
During her four seasons in Madrid, Ajibade scored 40 goals, before registering 12 in 39 appearances for Norwegian club Avaldsnes earlier in her career.
The pacey and prolific forward now aims to build on last month’s WAFCON triumph as she embarks on a new chapter in Paris.
