- Rasheedat Ajibade, after a stellar season with Club Atlético de Madrid Femenino, is back in Nigeria, giving back to her community.
Ajibade, who is spending her end-of-season vacation in Nigeria, has been spreading hope and kindness to those in need.
Over the weekend, Ajibade and her team, Rash For Christ, visited Bariga in Lagos.
They offered prayers, free medical checkups and medications, soul-uplifting books, and well-packaged food to residents.
Ajibade shared her motivation on Instagram, expressing her desire to spread God's love and compassion.
Her post reads: "Let’s continue to be the light in our community and beyond, shining brightly to illuminate even the darkest corners with love, compassion, and the unwavering belief that together, we can make a difference that resonates far beyond our immediate reach.
"Our actions today echo into eternity, touching lives, hearts, and souls in ways we may never fully comprehend.
"Let’s keep this flame of love burning, a beacon of hope in a world that often feels cold and indifferent."
Ajibade's off-field generosity mirrors her on-field excellence.
During the 2023/24 season, she scored ten goals and provided six assists in 30 league games, helping Atlético finish fourth in the Primera División and qualify for the UEFA Champions League.
Her consistent performances earned her the title of Atlético de Madrid Femenino's Best Player of the Season award.
